What I’ve Learned
Early in her career, Kimberly Evans Paige was focused on proving herself — hitting goals, advancing quickly. But she found that chasing achievement without grounding left her unsettled.
Her breakthrough came in reframing leadership as presence and purpose, not position. “Your purpose is bigger than your position.”
How I’ve Sharpened
Kimberly has built practices that keep her leadership anchored in what truly matters:
- Define your superpowers. She encourages leaders to identify what they uniquely bring to the table and lean into it.
- Check your values daily. She grounds herself by aligning actions with her personal values, not just company metrics.
- Lead with presence. She practices being fully present in every room, modeling attentiveness and authenticity.
- Stay rooted in humility. She believes leadership is service, not status. “Your personal brand walks into the room before you.”
These habits not only center her as a leader but also give her teams clarity and confidence.
Why It Matters
Reinforcing your foundation is about showing up with integrity and presence. Kimberly’s lesson is that purpose is the anchor leaders need to weather change and make their impact last.
“When you know your purpose, the position is just where you deliver it.”
